Like many of you, I spent my younger years chasing that sun-kissed look through tanning bed sessions and laying out under the sun, unaware of the harsh reality of unintentional UV exposure. Today, I proudly prioritize skin health and have swapped tanning beds for professional sunless tanning, premium products, and regular check-ins with my dermatologist.
Since vitamin D is still essential, I soak in the sunshine more responsibly—and encourage you to do the same! Our mission is to help you feel educated, empowered, and simply glowing.
What began as a side hustle naturally evolved into a passion project. I started Illusions as a mobile tanning business in 2009 while balancing college (Go Rams!) and work. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with incredible people, and truly believe this is one of the best gigs a girl could dream up.
With countless tanning products on the market, choosing the right one can be overwhelming. Our products are professionally formulated here in Colorado with skin rejuvenation and anti-aging benefits in mind, using only the highest-quality ingredients. With consistent use, you’ll notice the difference—and so will everyone else.
After years of client questions about how to prepare for and maintain a spray tan, I knew it was time to create a dedicated skincare line. In 2021, after a year of research and development, I launched our custom prep and post-tan care products. Designed to enhance and extend your tan while nourishing your skin, our products eliminate the common frustrations of uneven fading, splotchy development, and short life span.
Outside of Illusions Organic, I’m raising two bright lights who fill my world with joy—bike rides, hikes, dance parties, sports, and colorful adventures are just part of our regular rhythm. I feel beyond grateful to run a business that allows me to balance work and family, serve such a supportive community, and continue evolving.
